I remember when I was 27 or 28 years old working a full-time job. I had just graduated with my MBA two years prior, and I was 8 years into my corporate career. I had worked full-time to put myself through college living out of state away from family, and working hard to pay my bills. In fact, I had 2 jobs while going to school full-time. Talk about no social life.
At about this same time, my life hit a pivotal point in my self-growth. After years of counseling off an on, I still felt like there was something deep inside of me that needed to come out. The problem was I didn’t know how to reach it or figure out what it was that I felt deeply imbedded in me.
I had a few psychic readings from age 20 on, and at least twice the reader would say to me, “do you know that you’re a healer?”
I had no clue what this meant, and I never acted on it, until I was 28 and had my first energy healing session in Scottsdale, Arizona.
My energy sensitivity had kicked in to a new level than I had known before. I actually went almost 10 days with barely 2 hours of sleep a night, and I wasn’t tired. “How is this possible?! What is really happening with me right now???”, I kept asking myself.
I was in sheer amazement of how my body seemed to know exactly what it was doing and needed, without my direction or interference.
Energy began to work with my body, healing and expanding it to release inner blocks. I then developed a keen interest to learn more of how to work with it and harness my intuitive abilities.
I Committed to the Journey
While continuing to work full-time, I used the extra money I had to begin investing in my spiritual growth and healing to take me to new levels of authentic living and consciousness. I was ready to do some deep work to heal my pain body, human conditioning, heal repeating patterns that did not serve me, and discover my Soul’s purpose.
And more importantly, understand why I kept falling into the loop of unhealthy repeating patterns like self-sabotage, people-pleasing my family and co-workers, toxic romantic relationships, drinking alcohol, and keeping myself closed off from others and operating in my masculine instead of my feminine. (I learned to be in my masculine from my childhood dynamics from having an overbearing, alcoholic father.)
I began to feel that my life didn’t feel meaningful or fulfilling enough in corporate. I knew I wanted to make a positive difference in the world, be of service to animals and humanity, and make a difference doing something that made me feel good—not drained, restricted, pissed off, and inauthentic like my corporate jobs made me feel.
It became super important to me to become my own authority and live life on my terms.
And this journey began with Soul Therapy. I was seeking a solution to heal and spiritually grow, and lo’ and behold, a mentor and guide flew into my life and it was no coincidence. My spirit and soul tracked her down from far and brought us together in Sedona. It is true about the saying, “when the student is ready, the teacher appears.” Divine timing and guidance is a REAL thing! Ask and you shall receive.
Begin to Live an Authentic Life
I value my happiness and spiritual well-being, and you should, too. We are spirit, harmonious, intelligent beings. It is our human body and all its counterparts that we were born into that are carrying pain and trauma. So shouldn’t it be our call and responsibility to create an energetically clear, clean, and healthy body so we can thrive?
You bet it is. If you want to feel better about who you are, how you spend your time and contribute to society, finding healthy love, being your most authentic self, and living out your dreams, then there is work to do.
Who you really are. If you are feeling uncertain about your life path, take action today to begin receiving clarity and insight on how to move forward. You don’t have to do this alone, either. (I thought this for years!) That my friend, is just the ego’s way of saying “I don’t need anyone. I got this.” When the real truth is, we all need someone to help us on our journey.
And I would be honored to explore if I could be that person for you in your life.
